Described as “short and to-the-point,” these emotional performances have reached more than 170 million viewers in recent seasons!

Fans can witness the hottest show-stopping routines from season 15, as well as original pieces choreographed specifically for “So You Think You Can Dance Live! 2018.”

3. The show has gone world-wide

Adaptations of the show began airing in other countries in late 2005, and to date, 28 localized adaptations have been produced, representing 39 different countries and comprising more than 90 individual seasons.

4. Performers have to be quick on their feet, in more ways than one

Contestants and choreographers for the television show put together their routines in only six hours.

5. Before they were famous, many stars performed on the show

Lady Gaga who made of one her first U.S. television appearances on “So You Think You Can Dance,” singing the season four theme song, “Just Dance,” back in 2008. Three years later in season 8, Gaga, now an international superstar, came full-circle and paid back the favor by serving as one of the best “So You Think You Can Dance” guest judges ever.
