Midge Hamilton, Director of Marketing at Music Worcester, spoke with Lisa this week about the upcoming performance of the ballet “Sleeping Beauty” taking place at The Hanover Theatre on April 18. Music Worcester has sponsored numerous ballet performances at the theatre in the past, and are excited to have Moscow Festival Ballet presenting “Sleeping Beauty” this year. Midge talked about how important it is to the folks at Music Worcester to promote all aspects of the performing arts and make connections between different art forms.

Midge also told listeners about a special event happening at The Ecotarium on Wednesday, April 16 called “Let’s Move!”. Music Worcester will be partnering with The Ecotarium and with Jennifer Agbay of Ballet Arts Worcester to host a module for preschool age children studying movement as it pertains to ballet. This fun event will feature dancers from Ballet Arts Worcester, and Music Worcester will have a table where listeners can swipe their WOO Cards to ear double points.
