The Hanover Theatre’s Lisa Condit spoke with Brian Barlow, one of the event organizers behind our July 21 Jazz at Sunset concert. Read highlights from the interview* or listen to the entire interview below.
Lisa: I remember hearing about Jazz at Sunset back when it was at the EcoTarium, and it really had become an institution.
Brian: We have 23 years of history to rely on. So we’re going to take all the best things we did and apply that to this series, plus a few more surprises. We have an upgraded stage and sound system. And most important, you’re going to see a terrific rising star in Grace Kelly.

Lisa: I’m excited for the whole ambiance. We’ve got food trucks there.
Brian: They’re the new hot cuisine.
Lisa: And Grace Kelly is all over the world with her music and her voice.
Brian: We used to do six concerts a year. I think we can revive that and bring in some stars and just have a party every July. The Theatre District is a really up and coming region in downtown Worcester.
