THT Rep presents
An Experimental Staged Reading of JUDITH
by Katie Bender
Staged Reading Directed by Brendon Fox
Original Concept + Performance by Livy Scanlon*
One night only on March 13 at 7:30pm
Judith dresses in drag and heads to London to save her brother’s reputation. There, she pursues work as a poet, discovering the pleasures and pitfalls of passing as a man in a patriarchal, politically charged, deeply divided nation. Gallivanting in and out of character, Judith is a solo show that questions identity, ambition and self worth. Written during the pandemic, it is a love letter to the magic of the theater.
