Acting & Theatre

Adult Improv 2 and Performance (Ages 18+)

A group of four adults wearing black stands around a woman in a maroon top who is kneeling with her arms raised overhead, as the others extend their hands toward her in a collaborative pose.

Prerequisite: Adult Improv 1 or permission from instructor.

Students with prior improvisation experience work on building a toolbox of techniques to successfully create rich characters, heighten relationships, and tackle group scenes. In the fall, students work on building a repetoire of favorite games and exercises. In the winter and spring, the class develops a 30-minute routine for an improv showcase, to be performed at the end of the year. This is a fabulous opportunity to see what it’s like to be a part of an improv troupe!
