TBT: ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas

Did you miss the Pops at the Hanover Theatre this year?! On December 4th, conductor Keith Lockhart lead the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra in a wonderfully festive night of holiday favorites such as “Let it Snow!”, and “Winter Wonderland”. A special tradition that’s begun at this annual concert is the reading of Clement C. Moore’s “A Visit to St. Nicholas” (Twas the Night Before Christmas) musically arranged by Reisman and read by a cast member of “A Christmas Carol”. In past years, readers have included Sean Patrick Hopkins (Bob Cratchit ’13) and Andrew Ross Crowe (Fred Scrooge). This year, my husband, Steve Gagliastro, was asked to perform the timeless classic.  It was a night I don’t think either of us will forget.

Happy Christmas to all from the Hanover Theatre!
