In Our Event Center

Accessible through our 551 Main Street entrance, guests with disabilities have  accessibility to both of our newest function rooms.  Our two modern and unique event rooms can accommodate groups of 40-250.  The catering kitchen supports both function rooms with easy access to and from the theatre’s upper lobby.

The Curtis Room provides a lovely space with high ceilings, great lighting and a projector and screen for all your AV needs for your next business meeting. Appropriate for seated or standing receptions or meetings, the Curtis Room is conveniently located off the promenade for easy access into the theatre. With a private entrance and private bathrooms, it’s the perfect space to impress your guests.

The McDonough Room is a large and modern space that is appropriate for groups of up to 250. The room hosts a projector and screen with all your AV needs, including colored lighting available upon request. Guests can arrive at their own private entrance, use the private restrooms and have easy access to the theatre if attending a show. Wonderful for all events ranging from weddings to business meetings, the McDonough Room is appropriate for seated social or business functions, as well as standing receptions.

In Our Historic Theatre: For Intimate Events

The Modern Lobby is a bright and open space with beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Francis R. Carroll Plaza. Sitting right inside the box office doors and a few steps down from the Historic Lobby, the Modern Lobby is the perfect space for a meeting or cocktail reception. It is appropriate for seated functions or standing receptions.

The historic Franklin Square Salon is fully furnished with a bar, two small sofas, coffee tables and additional period-inspired seating. The Franklin Square Salon also features an alluring fireplace covered in the original 1904 green tiles and a large window securing the only remaining piece of stained glass from 1904. This intimate space is perfect for a private meeting or gathering, or even a holiday dinner with friends and family.

The Mary C. DeFuedis Bridge is a private space overlooking the Modern Lobby and the glass wall of windows looking out on the Francis R. Carroll Plaza. With an elegant bar and ambient lighting, the space is intimate enough for a cocktail reception but large enough to accommodate a dinner reception. It is appropriate for seated functions or standing reception.

In Our Historic Theatre: For Larger Occasions

Delight your guests with the stunning chandeliers, antique mirrors, our grand staircase and beautifully crafted granite bar of the Historic Lobby. The Grand Promenade overlooks the Historic Lobby and is a larger function space with accents reminiscent of the 1920s. With high ceilings and large chandeliers, the Promenade provides elegant grandeur for any occasion. It is appropriate for seated functions up to 200 or receptions up to 300 guests.
