As THT Rep embarks on its sixth season, New England audiences continue to be astounded by the high-caliber programming, performances, and design of our resident professional theatre company. Led by Artistic Director Livy Scanlon, the 26/27 THT Rep Series will introduce us to three unique worlds that promise to unearth fresh perspectives on classic stories and unique characters. I am eager to witness the undying love between Juliet and her Romeo, celebrate the songs and styles of Hedwig, and join in on the party with Juicy’s family. I hope you join us at the BrickBox this season – I know it will be a season to remember.

Dear friends,

Just like that, The Hanover Theatre Repertory has reached an extraordinary milestone—our 5th anniversary season. This journey has been possible only because of you: our audiences, our artists, and our community partners. Thank you for bringing your curiosity, imagination, trust and joy into the BrickBox Theater.

So far, we’ve staged timeless classics, bold experiments, and contemporary stories that speak to the urgency of our world. As we step into this anniversary season, I find myself reflecting on why theater matters now more than ever. We live in uncertain and polarized times, yet when we gather in the dark, side by side, we experience something rare: collective attention. Whether through laughter, tension, or revelation, theater requires us to lean forward together.

Thank you for being part of this ongoing experiment. Here’s to the next five years of making meaning, together.
