Support our mission
Membership is our thank-you to any donor who makes a gift of $100 or more each year. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on tax-deductible donations to maintain our historic theatre, underwrite our school and community engagement programs, provide need-based conservatory scholarships, and even support our mainstage season–ticket sales only cover a portion of the cost for these activities.
In return, we gratefully offer members an array of benefits that will enhance your experience every time you walk through our doors, from advance notice of new shows and invitations to behind-the-scenes events, to complimentary parking and, for Franklin Square Society members, access to the historic Franklin Square Salon.
The Hanover Theatre was created with tremendous support from the community, and our members continue that legacy with their annual contributions. Their investment makes our work possible, and that is something to celebrate.

Friend Level Benefits
Friend Level ($100-$199) donors receive the following member benefits:
- Advance notice and early access to tickets to most shows before they go on sale to the public
- Special monthly offers
- Discounts at local restaurants and business partners
- Automatic entry into special drawings for tickets to upcoming shows
- Free admission to Historic & Architectural Tours
- Free admission to Wurlitzer Organ Concerts
Patron Level Benefits
Patron Level ($200-$374) donors receive all of the above, plus:
- Recognition in Broadway Series programs
- Two (2) complimentary tickets to each of our silent film events
Associate Level Benefits
Associate Level ($375-$749) donors receive all of the above, plus:
- Two (2) complimentary tickets to each of our silent film events
- Two (2) guest passes for free onsite parking and access to the Franklin Square Salon with complimentary bar service
Supporter Level Benefits
Supporter Level ($750-$1,499) donors receive all of the above, plus:
- Two (2) additional guest passes for free onsite parking and access to the Franklin Square Salon with complimentary bar service
- Invitation to attend A Christmas Carol final dress rehearsal
Franklin Square Society Benefits
Franklin Square Society ($1,500+) donors receive all of the above, plus:
- Access to the best available seats via FSS hotline or email
- First opportunity to buy tickets for most non-Broadway touring productions
- Free onsite parking in Myrtle St lot behind the theatre for most main stage shows
- Access to Franklin Square Salon and complimentary bar service for main stage shows
- Special insider FSS e-newsletter, “Betty’s Buzz”
- Special member benefits at THT Rep productions at the BrickBox Theater, located at the Jean McDonough Arts Center (JMAC)
We feel fortunate to be able to support the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts, not only annually as members of the Franklin Square Society, but by being members of the 1926 Legacy Society. By doing so, we trust that the efforts of The Hanover Theatre will continue to enhance the community, not only through its productions and programs, but also by creating a truly bright spot in the city of Worcester.
