Event Description

“5,000 years of Chinese music and dance, in one night!” - The New York Times

“Extraordinary experience!” -
Cate Blanchett, Academy Award-winning actress

SHEN YUN is back with a brand-new production. Watch ancient legends, heavenly realms and modern tales of courage spring to life through classical Chinese dance. See ethnic dances, dazzling costumes and powerful flips fill the stage with color and energy. Let the orchestra’s exquisite melodies, the singers’ soaring voices and the dynamic animated backdrops uplift your spirit and transport you to another world.

SHEN YUN presents what Chinese culture was like before it was destroyed by decades of communism. For five thousand years, China was home to a deeply spiritual civilization, one that treasured virtue, kindness, loyalty and integrity.

But when the Chinese Communist Party came to power in 1949, the first thing it did was obliterate traditional Chinese culture, its values and its beauty. Based in New York, SHEN YUN is now reviving this lost heritage through mesmerizing performances. It is five thousand years of civilization—reborn.
