Pre-Book Parking with ParkWhiz

Save on standard drive-up parking prices at the Federal Plaza Garage by pre-booking your parking space in advance! Simply select your Hanover Theatre or THT Rep event and book your space. If pre-booking at the Federal Plaza Garage appears to be sold out online, a few spots may be available if arriving early but there are municipal parking lots and garages all around downtown. After the Federal Plaza Garage, the next closest are the McGrath (Library) Lot and the Worcester Common Garage.

BrickBox Theater and Worcester PopUp at the JMAC Parking
Parking is available at the Federal Plaza Garage and the Worcester Common Garage. Accessible parking spots are located on each floor of the parking garages. Street parking meters are enforced Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm. Street parking on Sundays and holidays is free of charge. There is limited accessible street parking on Federal Street.

Tuckerman Hall Parking
Some parking is available in the lot on Tuckerman Street, just before the building. Additional parking can be found at 39 Salisbury Street, immediately adjacent to Tuckerman Hall. On-street parking is available on most nearby streets, including Tuckerman Street. A municipal lot is also located at the intersection of Lancaster, Highland and Harvard streets, with entrances on both Lancaster and Highland.

For all municipal parking lot and garage locations, please visit the city’s website. Parking in Worcester has evolved with the opening of Polar Park and other venues, so we strongly encourage you to plan ahead for a seamless experience.

Public Transit

The Hanover Theatre is located along multiple bus routes in Worcester. The 7, 6, 29, 33 and 19 all run down Main Street in front of the theatre with the nearest outbound stop located directly across the street. WRTA buses are fare-free on all routes through June 30, 2026, and the WRTA hub is located just under a mile away from the theatre. Visit the WRTA website for a real-time tracker that updates with expected arrival times at every bus stop, a highly recommended tool as actual arrival times can differ from the schedule.

The Hanover Theatre is located just a 12-minute walk (0.6 miles) from Union Station.

Drop-Off

Limited drop off areas are available on Main Street and the short connecting road between Southbridge Street and Main Street.
