Dear friends,
From a literal witch hunt to a witty romantic romp, THT Rep’s 2024-2025 lineup is here!
Set in Salem jail, our fully-realized production of The Crucible, by Arthur Miller, builds on the all-female casting concept explored in 2023’s experimental staged reading. The 4th annual Edgar Allan Poe Double Header returns to haunt the BrickBox Theater with its pair of spine-tingling tales. A developmental staged reading (title TBD) will introduce audiences to a brand new, classics-inspired work. And Much Ado About Nothing promises another fun, fresh foray into a beloved Shakespearean comedy.
The upcoming season deepens our commitment to several key values that are quickly becoming signatures of THT Rep:
1. We produce major works with large casts that leave a lasting impression.
2. We re-examine classic plays in all their forms, including as brand-new adaptations.
3. We use staged readings as “research” for fully-realized productions.
4. We offer our tuition-free Worc at Play actor training program to put our community on stage.
