Celebrate with Us

Thank you to our founders, staff, volunteers, board members, donors, Broadway subscribers and patrons for helping to get us to this milestone.

In partnership with others, we remain dedicated to helping transform the Theatre District from a “place” into a vibrant cultural destination. With a dynamic slate of cultural offerings and entertainment in multiple locations—the main stage, conservatory, BrickBox Theater and Carroll Plaza—and the programming that is free and open to the public, we bring vibrancy and energy to downtown and value to visitors and those who live and/or work in the city.

You are an important part of our success! As the theatre officially kicks off its 15th anniversary on March 14, 2023 we hope that you will join us at one of the many events planned throughout the next year.

The last 15 years would not have been possible without the dedication and support of individuals and organizations within our community alike.

The theatre volunteers play an integral part with the front-of-house team during shows and performances, as well as leading historic and architectural tours and supporting the theatre’s administrative departments with ongoing clerical and management needs.

Congratulations to all H. Carter Hunt Volunteer of the Year Award winners! Thank you for your service to THT.

Building Our Future

The opening of The Hanover Theatre in 2008 was the culmination of an ambitious vision for the performing arts in Worcester and the committed support of the entire community. That legacy of community support continues today through the generosity of our donors. Your support has a direct impact and helps to ensure that the performing arts continue to thrive in Worcester.

Through December 31, 2023, the McDonough Foundation will match your THT Rep Fund donation, dollar for dollar, up to $1.5 million. Right now, you can double the impact of your support and help turn $1.5 million into $3 million. Your gift to THT Rep will allow us to pursue inclusive casting, set equitable ticket prices and choose titles that work well for the general public and our student audiences.

Cheers to 15 years

Broadway, music and more right here in downtown Worcester.
