    Worcester, Mass. (April 16, 2021) The Hanover Theatre Repertory (THT Rep) is pleased to announce the cast for this summer’s production of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, presented in partnership with the City of Worcester with support from the Worcester Business Improvement District.

    The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory Announces the Worcester Youth Speak Honestly (WYSH) Project 2021

    Worcester, Mass. (April 14, 2021) The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory is thrilled to announce a new opportunity for Worcester youth ages 14-18, the Worcester Youth Speak Honestly (WYSH) Project. The conservatory is seeking a group of Worcester youth interested in creating an original piece of theatre based on their life experiences.

    The Hanover Theatre Repertory to host auditions for Julius Caesar

    Worcester, Mass. (February 12, 2021) The Hanover Theatre Repertory (THT Rep) invites professional and aspiring actors to audition for a timely production of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Presented in partnership with the City of Worcester and subsidized by sponsors including Assumption University and BayState Savings Bank, the production will be offered free and open to the public on the Worcester City Common this upcoming August.

    The Hanover Theatre Repertory to offer Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar as gift to the community

    Worcester, Mass. (February 12, 2021) The Hanover Theater Repertory (THT Rep), a new initiative committed to engaging, entertaining and energizing Worcester audiences with dynamic theatrical events, is proud to partner with the City of Worcester to present William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Performances will be offered free and open to the public on the Worcester Common Friday, August 6 through Sunday, August 22, with preview performances starting Tuesday, August 3.

On the heels of its debut production, “Edgar Allan Poe Double Header,” THT Rep next offers A Christmas Carol Reimagined, a filmed theatrical production available for digital streaming December 11-31.

    Celebrated holiday dance spectacle available to stream for The Hanover Theatre audiences

    Worcester, Mass. (November 5, 2020) The Hip Hop Nutcracker, a contemporary dance spectacle set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music, is available to stream for Worcester audiences on Saturday, December 19. The live capture, filmed as a part of a partnership with PBS, will allow recurring and new patrons to experience this beloved holiday tradition at home, as theaters across the country remain closed.
