    The Hanover Theatre Repertory to host auditions for Julius Caesar

    Worcester, Mass. (February 12, 2021) The Hanover Theatre Repertory (THT Rep) invites professional and aspiring actors to audition for a timely production of William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Presented in partnership with the City of Worcester and subsidized by sponsors including Assumption University and BayState Savings Bank, the production will be offered free and open to the public on the Worcester City Common this upcoming August.

    The Hanover Theatre Repertory to offer Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar as gift to the community

    Worcester, Mass. (February 12, 2021) The Hanover Theater Repertory (THT Rep), a new initiative committed to engaging, entertaining and energizing Worcester audiences with dynamic theatrical events, is proud to partner with the City of Worcester to present William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Performances will be offered free and open to the public on the Worcester Common Friday, August 6 through Sunday, August 22, with preview performances starting Tuesday, August 3.

(Updated December 9, 2020) As audiences eagerly await the reopening of The Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts’ main stage, the organization will continue to deliver programming through The Hanover Theatre Repertory (THT Rep). On the heels of its debut production, “Edgar Allan Poe Double Header,” THT Rep next offers A Christmas Carol Reimagined, a filmed theatrical production available for digital streaming December 11-31.

    Celebrated holiday dance spectacle available to stream for The Hanover Theatre audiences

    Worcester, Mass. (November 5, 2020) The Hip Hop Nutcracker, a contemporary dance spectacle set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music, is available to stream for Worcester audiences on Saturday, December 19. The live capture, filmed as a part of a partnership with PBS, will allow recurring and new patrons to experience this beloved holiday tradition at home, as theaters across the country remain closed.

    Warren Miller Entertainment’s Future Retro coming to your living room this fall

    In the first-ever digital release of a full-length Warren Miller feature film, Warren Miller Entertainment (WME) is excited to bring its audience the digital release of the brand’s 71st film, Future Retro. The film will premiere on the east coast on Saturday, November 7 at 7pm, with a portion of tickets sold benefiting The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts.

    Live theatre returns to Worcester with first indoor production approved by Actors' Equity in Massachusetts

(September 22, 2020) The Hanover Theatre is proud to launch THT Repertory with the first indoor, socially-distanced performance to be approved by Actors' Equity Association in Massachusetts. Thursdays - Sundays, October 1-25, The Hanover Theatre Repertory presents its Edgar Allan Poe Double Header in the new BrickBox Theater at the Jean McDonough Arts Center, right in the heart of downtown Worcester.
