Sound Design I (Teens & Adults)

This course is for students who want to pursue career opportunities in audio system design and integration, both live and virtual. The focus of this course is on the fundamentals of audio design for live events such as musical theatre, corporate events, studio recording/post production mixing, broadcast and audio for video. System design is studied, as well as hands on practical operation. Students will be trained on the operation of Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) with an emphasis toward hands on editing and mixing for music and video postproduction. Laptop or tablet required for this course. Note: This is a 10-week course.
