This Holiday Season,
Experience A Christmas Carol
Like Never Before!

As we eagerly await the reopening of The Hanover Theatre, we continue to be thrilled to offer shows through The Hanover Theatre Repertory, a new initiative committed to engaging, entertaining and energizing audiences with dynamic theatrical events made in and for Worcester’s BrickBox Theater, focusing on classics, modern-classics, and classics-inspired works.

This December, THT Rep is producing A Christmas Carol Reimagined, a filmed theatrical production available to view or download and through safe, socially distant screenings at the Worcester BrickBox Theater.

A Christmas Carol Reimagined is directed and adapted from the Charles Dickens novel by Troy Siebels, with videography by John Stimpson.

Reimagined How?

In a compelling departure from The Hanover Theatre’s annual mainstage production, 2020’s A Christmas Carol Reimagined features a small band of players who sneak into an abandoned theatre, shuttered by a pandemic. Dusty scenic pieces and the discarded playbills from a cancelled production of A Christmas Carol litter the space. The ghost light, however, remains illuminated.  Inspired, the troupe uncovers the forgotten treasures that have been left behind, using what they find to tell Charles Dickens’ classic tale of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge in a whole new way.

A Christmas Carol Reimagined is available to view or download via Vimeo On Demand and can also be experienced through safe, socially-distant screenings at the Worcester BrickBox Theater.
