Summer Dance Programs

We are dedicated to providing high-quality, pre-professional and recreational training and instruction. We ensure small classroom size so that each student can accomplish goals both individually and collectively.

New in summer 2019, drop-in will no longer be available for summer classes, but you can now select one week or all ten throughout the summer. We recommend a minimum of three weeks.

Open Ballet Classes

New in summer 2019 – Choose your weeks!

Ages 7-17
Tuesdays and Thursdays
June 18 – August 29 (no classes July 2, 3, 4)
Ages 7-9: 4 PM – 5:15 PM
Ages 10-13: 5:15 PM – 6:45 PM
Ages 14+: 7 PM – 8:30 PM

Adults 18+
Wednesdays 7 PM – 8:30 PM
June 19 – August 28 (no classes July 2, 3, 4)

All open ballet classes for all levels offered are designed to keep bodies moving over the summer, in a nurturing and safe environment. These classes are less instructional, but will give a good challenge and a beneficial workout. Instructors will be rotated throughout the sessions.

Pointe Intensive

New in summer 2019 – Choose your weeks!

Wednesday 5 PM – 7 PM
June 19 – August 28 (no classes July 2, 3, 4)

This class is dedicated to the essence pointe work, whether a beginner or advanced dancer, this two hour class will be both informative and technical. We will add pre-pointe exercises for our beginners and give our advanced dancers a chance to dance some of ballet’s well know variations, like Bluebird and Sugar Plum Fairy. This is a wonderful class to receive extra attention in pointe work.

Dance Intensive Week

August 12-16
Ages 5 & 6: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Ages 7-12: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM

These classes are designed to introduce or enforce the fundamental stages of classical ballet, such as pre-ballet and creative movement, plus open the youngest dancers experience to newer genres of dance and their compliments such as jazz, modern and yoga. Students will love their time in ballet dances and stories as they will learn about ballet history’s past through music and movement.
